Harvest 2008

Often the weather and the occasion seem to match perfectly and the harvest festival in 2008 was another example.

We try not to do things just because we have always done them. For harvest we asked everyone to bring something for which we were grateful. God gives us so much more than "just" food. At the front of the chapel you can see the photos and items which the church brought to express what they appreciated most of God's material gifts.

After the harvest service the church had lunch together. Some stayed inside but many made the most of the superb weather and sat outside. One of the strengths of Scorrier Christian Fellowship that they enjoy spending time together and care deeply about each other.

Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching. (Hebrews 10:25 NIV)
