In 2009 a fairly small number braved the threatening weather forecast and enjoyed an afternoon of sun and sand.

The beach part of the event ended in the sea for some and then all went to the home of two of the members and ate a good meal. Some also toasted and ate far too many marshmallows but everyone enjoyed it.
